How to create a shortcut for dial-up on your desktop in Windows 95 and Windows 98

  1. Double-click on My Computer
  2. Double-click on the Dial Up Networking folder
  3. Right click only once on your Lanset connection. A small menu will appear.

  4. Left-click on Create Shortcut
  5. A question will pop up. Click on Yes.

A shortcut has now been placed on your desktop.
